1 can 19 oz (540 ml)
St-Hubert Onion Soup with Red Wine
8 c (2 l) thinly sliced potatoes
2 ½ c (625 ml) grated Swiss cheese
Salt and freshly ground pepper
Preparation Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 °F (180 °C).
Cover the bottom of a lasagna pan with a layer of potatoes.
Add 1/3 of the soup, 1/2 cup (125 ml) grated cheese, salt and pepper to taste. Repeat layers twice.
Finish with remaining cheese. Season with salt and pepper again.
Cover and bake for 1 hour.
Remove cover and put under the broiler until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
